Description

The 9004 is the oval-profile equivalent of the 8004 rectangular privacy set, and this listing is specifically the 35mm backset version for narrow door stiles. It provides privacy locking from the interior via a snib, with an emergency release on the exterior - the same function as the 8004, wrapped in the softer oval aesthetic of the 9000 series.

Suited to bathrooms, ensuites, bedrooms, and any cavity sliding door where privacy is needed and the door stile measures less than 50mm from edge to lock centre.

7 finishes available: Brushed Nickel, Brushed Satin Chrome, Bronze, Chrome Plate, Matte Black, Satin Brass, Satin Chrome

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between the 9004 35mm and the standard 9004? The standard 9004 ships with an adjustable 50–55mm backset. This 35mm version swaps that component for a 35mm lock slide, needed when the distance from the door edge to the lock centre is less than 50mm. Measure this before ordering.

What is the difference between the 9004 and the 8004? Functionally identical - both are privacy sets with snib and emergency release. The 9004 has an oval profile; the 8004 is rectangular. The choice is aesthetic.

Does it include an emergency release? Yes. The exterior pull includes an emergency override so the door can be opened from outside in a bathroom emergency.

Is professional installation available? Yes. Lockmart's qualified locksmiths can install this hardware at your Melbourne property. Contact us to arrange a quote.
