The McGrath Grange — Pull Handle Smart Lock

The McGrath Grange Pull Handle is a premium pull handle smart lock designed in Australia, for Australian doors. Where most digital locks are deadbolt replacements or lever-set retrofits, the Grange is a full entrance pull handle — the kind of statement piece you'd expect on a high-end contemporary home — with a complete smart access system built in.

It's a 5-in-1 digital lock, meaning it supports five independent access methods: fingerprint, PIN code, RFID card or fob, Bluetooth phone unlock via the McGrath Locks App, and a mechanical key override. All access credentials and user settings are managed through the McGrath Locks App, giving you full visibility and control over who enters your property, and when.

The Grange is available in Matt Black and Satin Stainless Steel, and in two configurations: Lockable (full entrance set with deadbolt) and Dummy (non-locking handle for the inactive leaf of French-style or double doors). If you're fitting a double door, you'll need one lockable and one dummy — both are available as variants on this page.

Door Thickness Compatibility Suits standard doors 35–55mm thick. If your door falls outside this range, an extended tailpiece kit is available:

Access Methods for McGrath Grange Pull Handle

Fingerprint — capacitive fingerprint reader on the exterior handle. Fast, reliable, and the most convenient day-to-day access method for regular users.

PIN Code — touchscreen keypad with anti-peep code function, which allows you to enter random digits before or after your actual code to prevent shoulder-surfing. Up to 100 PIN codes can be enrolled.

RFID — compatible with standard RFID cards and fobs. Issue credentials to family members, cleaners, tradespeople or guests without giving out a physical key.

Bluetooth / App Unlock — unlock via the McGrath Locks App on your phone when you're within Bluetooth range. Send eKeys to family and visitors directly through the app — no physical handover required.

Mechanical Key Override — rekeyable cylinder for emergency access. A USB-C port also allows emergency power bank connection if batteries run flat before you can replace them.

Remote Access via Gateway for McGrath Grange Pull Handle

The Grange can be connected to the McGrath Locks Gateway (sold separately), which adds WiFi connectivity and allows you to lock, unlock and monitor your door from anywhere in the world through the McGrath Locks App. The gateway also enables remote user management — add or revoke access credentials without being on-site.

App Features

The McGrath Locks App is where the Grange's full capability comes together:

• Enrol and manage PIN codes, fingerprints, RFID credentials and eKeys
• Audit trail — see a timestamped log of every access event
• Passage Mode — hold the door unlocked when required (deliveries, tradespeople, events)
• Low battery alerts — notified in-app and audibly at the lock
• Privacy Mode — activated via the interior privacy button, this locks out all access methods except the Administrator and mechanical key override
• Door sensor monitoring — the included door sensor can trigger auto-lock when the door closes, and alerts you if the door is left open
• Remote access (with gateway) — lock/unlock from anywhere
