How to order

Metlam hinges are sold individually. Choose the finish, the handing (Left or Right Hand) and the fixing type. Order three hinges per door.

Frequently asked questions

Are these hinges sold individually?

Yes, the price is for one hinge. Metlam recommends three hinges per cubicle door to stop the door bowing, so order three per door unless your partition supplier specifies otherwise.

How do I work out Left Hand or Right Hand?

Stand in front of the door and look for the hinges. If they are visible on the right-hand side, you need Right Hand hinges; if they are on the left-hand side, you need Left Hand hinges. If you are unsure, send us a photo and we will confirm before dispatch.

Can I change between Hold Open and Hold Closed?

Yes. The Moda Spring Hinge is reversible, so the hold open or hold closed action is set during installation rather than when ordering.

How does a spring hinge differ from a gravity hinge?

A spring hinge uses an internal spring to move the door to its open or closed position. Because the spring tension can be adjusted on site, it gives more consistent action than a gravity hinge, particularly on heavier or slightly misaligned doors.

Do I need anything extra for Bolt Through?
