Lockwood Symphony 1229/IP Privacy Indicating Disabled Turn Escutcheon – Surface Fix

The Lockwood Symphony 1229/IP is a disabled accessible privacy turn escutcheon with a built-in occupancy indicator. It is made for accessible bathrooms, toilets and change rooms, where the door has to be easy to lock from the inside and the lock status has to be visible from outside.

The oversized turn can be operated without gripping or twisting, so it suits users with limited hand strength or dexterity. The privacy indicator shows at a glance whether the room is vacant or engaged. It is designed to be fitted with a matching emergency turn escutcheon on the outside face of the door, so staff can open the door quickly in an emergency without a key.

Like all Symphony 1220 Series furniture, it is made from solid brass. The round rose fixes with two horizontal screws hidden behind a threaded rose trim, which gives a clean finish with no visible fixings.
